The Role
The Project Manager (IT) is an experienced SCRUM professional and will be responsible for the strategic program management of production workflow related projects. This is a senior role within a small business. They will lead the planning for project strategy and developments to meet business priorities in the production workflow program.
Responsibilities:
- The overall coordination of setting the priorities for program management roadmap for production workflow management.
- Collaborating with the project and development teams on user story inception and development
- Authoring user stories and gather information necessary from stakeholders for delivery of correct functionality
- Ensuring that projects are delivered to the expectations of customer community.
- Coordinating with Business stakeholders in the prioritisation and detail of story deliveries
- Collaborating with other product owners, PnP management and IT Operations teams to define and maintain a consistent product vision
- Have insight and vision on the market, business and customers to understand and identify opportunities to be raised to the business steering committee
- Analyse and judge trade-offs between solution options, usability, costing and performance needs.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
- Support the upkeep and bug management of existing systems
- Various activities as delegated by the team manager
- Contribute to evolve and refine the Agile project management procedures and techniques used by the business.
Essential Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related subject
- Minimum of 2yrs experience in an agile project management role ideally within the IT sector, however they will consider other industry experience
- Experience/certified in SCRUM
- Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
