A leading bank is looking to add to its risk analytics team with this exciting senior position. A varied role that encompasses supporting strategic objectives surrounding capital and impairment management, as well as strategic collaboration with key stakeholders across the business. This role will have truly meaningful impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Take responsibility for risk analytics capabilities, the continual enhancement of forecasting tools and risk statistical reporting, and the production of various forecasting models.
- Lead a team of analysts, encouraging their continual development and motivation.
- Direct the risk analytics capabilities of the team to produce timely and meaningful management information.
- Work with key stakeholders across the business to utilise this information to drive corrective and strategic action.
- Take ownership over the development of accurate capital reporting, according to business requirements.
- Ensure company compliance with IFRS7, Basel III, and other external credit data reporting requirements.

Key Skills/Experience
- Strong qualification background (degree or equivalent) in maths, economics, statistics, or similar.
- Strong background in financial analytical/decision science roles, with the ability and experience to challenge assumptions of regulatory capital models and implement alternatives.
- Good leadership skills, and ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Experience/knowledge of capital impairment
- Knowledge of, and ability to interpret Basel III and its implications
