Top 3 Pharma company. GMC registered Medical Affairs Physician with vaccines experience to provide medical leadership for the area for the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland.

The Vaccines and Diagnostics Division provides more than 20 vaccines to prevent viral and bacterial diseases, as well as sophisticated instruments, assays and software to protect the blood supply from infectious diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis.

PRIMARY DUTIES
This Director Medical Affairs role will create a positive medical environment to drive market access goals and meet compliance objectives across Cluster North (The UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland).

The role reports directly to the Head of Northern Europe for Vaccines. The UK is a strategically important market for this business and therefore there will be significant involvement and input with the global team. The team have 3 products in the pipeline and the key short/ medium term focus will be on a new product in meningitis. Market preparation is important and there will be significant liaison with top level customers. There is line responsibility for one Medical Compliance Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will be a fully GMC registered medical graduate or GMC permissable. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate clear career development within the pharmaceutical industry within Medical Affairs and be a certified ABPI signatory. You will have relevant therapeutic area experience.
