My client is a Global 15 pharmaceutical organisation who are looking to appoint a new VP of indirect procurement. This is a chance to change, develop and influence the internal culture of a truly global organisation as part of the Senior Procurement Leadership team.

Remit:

* Develop, maintain, and implement strategic sourcing plans for all indirect categories covering (but not limited to) Enterprise services, Finance, HR, Compensation and Benefits, Audit, Tax, Legal, Treasury and IT.
* Manage all SRM processes and procedures
* Facilitate continuous improvement through strategic category management to enable business partners and category leads to achieve all strategic purchasing objectives
* Mentor, develop and train junior colleagues to enhance overall procurement capability
* Encourage external research, benchmarking, and involvement in professional networks to achieve best practice

Requirements:
* 10 - 15 years minimum of global business experience
* 7 - 10 years minimum of mutli-disciplined procurement experience
* Experience leading and participating in cross functional global teams
* Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders up to C-level
* Excellent experience of category management, procurement processes, process redesign, project management, and continuous strategic improvement
* Excellent academics - MBA preferred
* Professional qualifications - MCIPS, CPM, CPIM
