Role -
The Life Science Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling medical / life science diagnostic products, services, tests and technologies into leading research academic and pharmaceutical laboratory accounts. The role will involve customer training into use of instruments in both the pre and post sales environment and working closely with Life Science Technical Specialists to share leads in the Sequence Capture and Next Generation Sequencing environment. In addition the appointed person will manage the overall stock level of defined freezers on territory - with a view to increasing account spend. The role is targeted and will require the successful applicant to work from home. Excellent training and on-going support is offered ensuring staff have genuine career development opportunities. Kay areas - qPCR, Automated NA Extraction, Sequence Capture or biochemical.
Applicant
* Applicants will have a background in the life sciences research setting.
* Ideally within qPCR, Automated NA Extraction, Sequence Capture or biochemical portfolios.
* Either working in or selling into the laboratory - it is imperative candidates demonstrate their ability to work alone while being an integral part of a broader team.
* All candidates will be excellent communicators who have problem solving skills.
* Applicants will be well educated, smart, and ambitious.
* An ability to learn fast and generally good business acumen are essential.
