Web Designer - Premium Fashion - London - £30 - 33K

This much loved premium women's fashion brand are looking for a Middleweight Web Designer with a fashion background to join their Ecommerce team. Reporting in to the Ecommerce Manager, this creative role is essential to developing and maintaining the consistent look and feel across the websites.

The Web Designer is responsible for creating, building and managing assets for the website and affiliate sites, including homepage, category banners and competition pages. Emails are an important aspect of the role, from design, build and testing, to sending emails and ensuring changes are implemented.

Key Responsibilities of the Web Designer: 
Emails - Creating new email templates; design, build and testing of email newsletters; building and sending emails, testing and sign off before send; seasonally updating CRM emails Design - Design and build feature/content pages as required; designing and coding editorial content and competition pages; design and oversee the build of seasonal skin updates; designing promo materials; designing, coding and scheduling home pages for desktop, VIP site, mobile and app; designing affiliate banners and holding pages etc; CSS updates Creative - Design and build assets and apps for social networking sites; ensure creative assets regularly updated on all media e.g iphone app, website, mobile site This is a great role for a creative and experienced web designer, with experience designing for a fashion brand, and an affinity for premium fashion. Experienced in Adobe Creative suite 5 and below, including Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and a basic understanding of InDesign, you will also be experienced in HTML, CSS with knowledge of CMS systems. Experience of using email service providers eg eDialog, Coremetrics, and video editing skills, would be an advantage.
