The following will be the day to day duties :

 HR Administration
* Effective administration of all HR Process and Procedures which will include letter writing, drawing up contracts, creating new starter packs, checking right to work in the uk, obtaining references, monitoring probation period.
* Minute taking of meetings or disciplinary.
* Ensure all notice boards are up to date
* Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
* To respond in writing to external customers requesting information.
* To assist in creation, maintaining and presentation of various spreadsheets
* Maintaining Sage HR and Auto Time
* Raise Purchase orders for goods and services required for HR and maintenance
* Conduct monthly briefings with employees.

Recruitment

* Advertising Company vacancy internally and via external souses (Direct Market Job Boards, Website, Facebook, Twitter, Agencies)
* Sending out template emails to candidates confirming recite of application.
* Pre selecting CVs and forwarding them on to recruiting managers, which adhere to the vacancy job specification.
* Pre screening candidates
* Booking Interviews through outlook, ensuring that appropriate times are booked for candidates and line Managers and booking rooms for interview to take place.
* Speaking to candidates to understand their availability in a professional way.
* Sending out template confirmation emails to candidates to confirm their interview times.
* Providing Candidates with feedback after interview stage
* Setting up psychometric tests.
* Ensuring CV trackers are up to date.
* Processing of Invoices
* Sending on agency timesheets
* Attending job fairs

Training
* Support Training Manager by conducting ad hoc induction sessions and site tour.
* Provide admin support to HR Advisor including marketing of courses, booking, organising and confirming all courses.
* Support the HR Advisor and HR Director in developing the external commercial opportunities for their academy.
* Track all enquires for training and ensure they are logged and followed up
* Suggest and implement improvements to training processes and procedures.

Payroll
* Printing off HR & Maintenance Teams Auto Time report for HR Director to sign off.
* Scanning over the Company's Auto Time reports to outsourced payroll team.
* Liaising with outsource payroll team and Line Managers to resolve payroll queries.
* To scan over payroll information - SSP and CSA forms, new starter bank details etc.

Project
* Promote and administrate the suggestion scheme that delivers increased employee engagement and business improvements in terms of cost saving/project improvements
* Assist with cost saving project
* Support HR Advisor to meet the HR Operating Plan
* Assist in the devilment of an improved induction process focused on new in role success
* Develop an Apprenticeship programme into the organisation as part of the recruitment strategy

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role (Essential)
* Knowledge of employment legislation including equality and diversity (Essential)
* Knowledge of HR standards, benchmarking and performance indicators (Essential)
* Experience in competency based interview skills (Essential)
* Proven track record of success in a fast moving and busy environment (Essential)
* Microsoft Office experience (Essential)
* CIPD intermediate (Desirable)
