My client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

The Finance Manager's primary role will be to work with the Head of Finance and other operational and finance team members to ensure sound strategic and operational financial management of the company's affairs.

The Role:

Managing the day to day running of the Treasury Department with the assistance of two Accounts Assistants.

Banking

* Oversee the production of weekly Bank Reconciliations

* Development and maintenance of procedures and documentation

* Ensure that bank mandates are kept up to date at all times

* System Administrator for the online banking systems

Month End

* Cash Account Balance Sheet Reconciliations

* Reconciliation of intercompany accounts

* Bank charges lead schedule

* Analysis of expenses led by the Head of Finance and Finance Director

* Various other ad hoc reconciliations as requested by Head of Finance and Finance Director

Other

* Support to the Regional Finance Managers for banking/cash queries

* Assisting the Manager in a variety of tasks including preparing monthly reports for head office and dealing with ad hoc queries

* Assisting the team with balance sheet reconciliations

* Prepare & send out Management Charges for all Intercompanies

* Daily and weekly Petty Cash integrations and postings

* Assisting with the weekly petty cash order

* Pay employee expenses and managing employee credit cards

* Assist with the internal audit review process

* Assisting with year-end compliance and audit

* Provide management with reports (variance analysis) on monthly expense codes relevant to Treasury within site or department.

* Monthly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.

Desired Skills:

* Strong treasury experience

* Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (but candidates that are not qualified but have suitable experience will also be considered)

* Must have managed a team of at least 3-4 people, with experience of conducting performance reviews

* IT Skills, particularly MS Word, Advanced Excel (Vlookups, PIVOT tables, Lower/Upper case) and Outlook

* Oral, written and interpersonal Communication

* Analytical and problem solving skills
