Spicers is one of the UK's largest and most successful suppliers of private label and branded tea. The company is based in Bournemouth and has a reputation for producing premium quality products dating back to 1934. Within recent years the business has gone from strength to strength and as a consequence they were acquired by Harris Freeman 2010.

Following on from this acquisition Spicers have a set and clear growth strategy for the future and already this year they have purchased a second manufacturing site in North Shields. Spicers supply a wide range of retail customers. Given the premium nature of their products, they also have a strong presence within the independent retailers. As well as being one of the leading suppliers of private label tea into retail across the good, better and best product categories they produce a number of branded products such as Dorset Tea and Tea India.

Role
The business is now looking to appoint a National Account Manager help to develop their ever growing branded business within the retail multiples. Reporting into the Sales and Marketing Director, your tasks will include, accurate forecasting, managing promotional activity, managing profitability and identifying and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities that exists within each customer account.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a proven track-record of growing and developing business within the top 4 grocery multiples. As for product background, specific experience within the hot beverage industry would be preferred, but certainly not essential. It is important that you can fit into a smaller business culture and have the ability to operate autonomously. My client is looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company's long term plans and growth strategy. As for location, you will be required in their head office in Wimborne Dorset, 2/3 days per week and be able to travel nationally.
