About the role

As Sourcing and Supplier Manager you'll take responsibility for creating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers whilst driving commercial value from third party sourcing category opportunities. With market expertise within the Marketing, HR and Professional Services categories you'll design, lead and implement sourcing strategies, taking the lead on this key category and running the end-to-end sourcing process (including the tendering of new and existing contracts coupled with the strategic management of the relationship through to contract exit). With executive level visibility, you will drive the fullest overall value from each supplier relationship to deliver tangible and sustainable benefits to LV= whilst creating the opportunity to offer sustainable revenue opportunities to the managed supplier.

About you

So what are we looking for? First and foremost you'll be able to demonstrate a wealth of category management expertise across Marketing, HR and Professional Services categories. Educated to degree level or with an equivalent professional qualification (such as MCIPS), you'll have extensive supply market and business knowledge in the chosen category. Your understanding of commercial models and techniques will help ensure you achieve best-in-class sourcing deals, while your commercial acumen and outstanding communication skills will enable you to liaise with all levels of our organisation. Networking and influencing will be at the heart of what you do and your dynamic self-motivated approach will enable you to excel in this role.
