We are looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic/Fitter to join the team on a permanent night shift, based in Willenhall.
You will be working for one of the largest privately owned Specialist Express Carriers in the United Kingdom.
The privately owned, family run transport company is looking for a candidate to work within a small team assisting in the maintenance and repair of HGV vehicles and trailers.
The role is essential to the company to ensure that the fleet is maintained to the highest standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will be:
An experienced HGV mechanic
Experienced with diagnostic equipment
Be apprentice trained and qualified in City and Guilds in heavy goods mechanics, maintenance and repair or equivalent
Have a clean driving licence
An HGV category C+E entitlement would be an advantage
As well as the mechanical element of the role the is also an element of general fitting and upkeep of the vehicles.

The hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday 6pm - 7am or 7pm - 6am
Tuesday to Thursday 6pm - 7am or 7pm - 6am
The basic salary is between £23,000 and £27,000 with targeted annual earnings up to £35,000 which includes overtime and bonuses
