What is the purpose of this role?
Amey is a major support services company for the Public Sector & is looking to recruit two experienced & qualified Arborist/ Climber's to work on the Birmingham Maintenance & Management Services contract.

As an ambassador for the AMEY brand you will be expected to undertake an excellent quality services in both maintaining and improving Birmingham's extensive highway tree stock. You will adopt the AMEY core values and assist the Arboricultural Team Leaders in delivering the work program.
What will this role involve?
Amey offer a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, 24 days paid leave (plus bank holidays) Basic of 40 hours per week with potential for overtime at weekends. A strong work ethic is required and experience in conducting work in public areasis desirable.In line with AMEY principals you must have a strong personal commitment to safety.Candidates need to be flexible & reliable, have a through proven knowledge of all aspects of tree works & must have the below requirements:
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements 12 months climbing experience with the use of a chain saw from a rope and harness. Possession of NPTC units cs30 cs31 cs38 cs39 Clean Full UK driving license- Excellent customer service skills Be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team Have high standards in both safety and qualityDesirable NPTC units cs40 and 41 Driving license with B+E, C+E category 1st Aid
