The purpose of the role is to:
- Support the Senior Lead Non-IT Sourcing in determining and managing the sourcing strategy within the following categories (Property, Legal, Consultancy and Human Resources), identifying and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure a robust methodology is utilised to identify requirements, search and appraise appropriate supply sources and negotiate contracts.
- Manage the Visa sourcing process, including a detailed category market analysis and preparation of materials/reporting formats for management gateways.
The job holder will also support the Senior Lead Non-IT Sourcing in providing sourcing and procurement advice to designated business areas, acting as a category centre of expertise to the business, and will contribute to the wider strategic planning of the Sourcing Team.
The ideal candidate should have:
Ideally a minimum five years sourcing experience in complex markets, preferably in the Financial Services sector, looking after at least 2 of these categories (Property, Legal, Consultancy or Human Resources)
Proven capability in negotiating sourcing deals in non-complex markets
Good supplier and contract management experience would be valuable
Demonstrable influencing skills and senior stakeholder management
Postgraduate procurement accreditation preferred (MCIPS or MIIAPS)
