An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Manager (FMCG). This is a temporary role to start ASAP and is expected to run for 11 months.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the total Home and Personal Care retail business, with category responsibility within the Retail Channel within the Convenience sector.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of Sales (Turnover) and Business Building (BBT) targets for designated categories within the Retail Channel of the Convenience Sector.
- Creation of Business Plans on designated categories portfolio with designated customers
- Negotiation of annual agreement Terms.
- Delivery of the Innovation and Promotional plan at an operational level.
- Co-ordinate Range Reviews.
- Buyer contact and relationship management at the Retail Channel key account.
- Development of the Designated Category strategy for the Convenience Sector.
- Internal (C Sector) Category Champion for designated Category. Development of strong working relationships with key personnel within Brand Building, Category (including Category Director), Business operations and Supply Chain.
- Manage Business executive who will support in a designated category
- Promotional Evaluation, Promotion Forecasting, management of Customer Invoice claims and clear documentation for all areas of portfolio responsibility.

Key Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation skills are required, which will come from a strong sales background in an FMCG environment.
- Strategic business development skills.
- Line management experience.

Main Accountabilities
- Achievement of targets.
- Understand Key Customer Accounts strategy and adapt strategy to fit
- Development of Joint Business Plans.
- Excellent delivery of Innovation and Promotions within key Customers.
- Designated Category Management (Range Reviews, New Product Listings, In Store Execution).
- Development of on-going Business Relationships.
- Development of the Designated category Strategy for the Convenience Sector.
- Regular, actionable store visits and close interaction with our Third Party Agency (Reach) in-store to drive utilisation of this resource.
- Detailed planning at a customer and category level.
