The post holder will provide general administrative assistance to the payments integrity team within a leading UK financial services trade association. The role of the Payments Integrity Unit is to provide oversight of the payment schemes, ensuring the operational efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of payment services in the UK.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Work effectively with the other members of the Payments Integrity Team on all issues relating to Payments Integrity, specific duties may include but are not limited to:

  •     Documents and updates processes and practices that ensure effective delivery of the association’s responsibility in relation to payments integrity.
  •     Produces documents and reports to convey scheme performance against Bank of England Expectation and KPIs. Produces appropriate reports for the Board.
  •     Develops and maintains cross scheme risk management reports.
  •     Assists with the Operations of ISCD
  •     Is an additional point of contact for queries relating to ISCD and bank reference data
  •     Supporting Clearing Codes Management Group & Clearing Codes Operational Group, the Members and Schemes that use Bank Reference Data including as requested by the Senior Adviser.
  •     Monitors threats and potential risks that could affect the Payments Industry and communicates such findings as appropriate.
  •     Responsible for the efficient and effective use of the SMS messaging system updates in relation to contingency and crisis matters.
  •     Assists in the co-ordination of the Payment Industry Incident response to live contingency incidents, collating & disseminating information as agreed by the Incident Management Group. Provides feedback to all relevant parties in relation to market-wide and other exercises.
  •     Assists in appropriate management of the Supply Chain across the Schemes.
