We are looking for an established Furniture Technologist to work for this great retailer. Working within this hard line product department, you will be required to liaise with off shore factories on all technical and quality issues; approve test reports; ensure that all products are fit for purpose and that they meet safety standards.

You will also effectively manage the product approval process, clearly communicate non-compliance to teams and suppliers, demonstrate influence in product development, take initiative to promote development of the product and demonstrate margin improvement.

As you will work closely with B&M and Design to progress effective product development, a strong team working ethos is essential.

Requirements:

Experience in hard line technology, across multiple products, is highly desirable. You will also ideally have experience of Far East travel and factory relationship building.

Furniture textile experience would be advantageous.

Coupled with a flexible approach, you will have excellent interpersonal, team working and communication skills.
