 An excellent opportunity exists for the key position of Open Learning Administrator with a world renowned organisation known for the quality of its training in interior and garden design. You will be based in the cool and trendy Chelsea Harbour area of London and have responsibility for non-academic administration and tutor support and, as first contact, play a vital role in building rapport with students.

You will be undertaking a wide range of general office duties. A good telephone manner, professional yet friendly, is essential since you will manage a student help line and track the flow of their work through the design school to and from our tutors.  You will assist in the manning of open days and evenings, and the occasional Saturday, and help our tutors organise exhibitions of students work. You will also be required to help the head monitor student welfare.

You will have at least one years’ experience of general office administration and a good general education (including Maths and English to at least GCSE). We are seeking a people person, a team player who is calm and collected with an up-beat ‘can do’ attitude   You will have lots of emotional intelligence and common sense and able to work quickly and efficiently. You will be a good communicator, have strong numeracy skills and be comfortable using MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint on a daily basis. The ability to multi-task and work under pressure is necessary.

A knowledge and appreciation of interior design is desirable.
