Further informationTo ensure and oversee the delivery of a range of innovation projects. This includes all product, process standards, and the technical integrity of the product.
Management of the customer interface with allocated account managers & product managers.
Key Accountabilities:
Management of the development process for allocated projects/customers ensuring all projects follow this process.
Development of recipes & compositional targets in line with the project brief, taking into account factory and supplier capabilities
Management of projects within agreed costs and critical path.
Provide timely and accurate costing information to finance
Ensure full and accurate documentation of recipes throughout the development process.
Benchmark products where necessary on a regular basis as agreed with site, the customer and technical team.
Timely and accurate completion of all retailer and internal development documentation.
With support from the Senior Applications Manager create and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers representing the business in a professional manner.
Coordination, completion of factory trials and preparation of samples for customer submissions.
Person Specification:
- Degree or equivalent in a food science or related subject
- Previous technical product development experience
- Project Management expertise
- Preferred dairy and cheese industry experience
- Awareness of technical and legislation parameters
