Job Summary
UK HealthCare Information Technology Services is currently seeking a professional, motivated individual for the position of IT Manager, Vendor Relationship Management. This role will be held accountable for establishing strong credibility & collaboration with our customers, leadership, affiliated organizations, and IT staff members. This is a highly matrixed organization which requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills.

This position manages the full cycle of all IT purchases, agreements, and contracts from initiation to completion. Primary responsibilities include: leading a high performing team, developing sourcing strategies, and implementing the IT vendor relationship management program. This individual will oversee a team that manages the day-to-day procurement activities; RFPs; contractual agreements and managing performance for vendors. Provides oversight and direction to vendors to ensure adherence to UK standards and requirements; will drive vendor performance and improvement through our established measurement criteria.

We are seeking a detail-oriented leader with a strong knowledge of performance management principles and practices.

This individual must have excellent interpersonal, team-building, coaching, critical-thinking and written and verbal communication skills. 
Preferred Education / Experience
Masters degree preferred.

Ten to fifteen years of progressive IT experience in:
* Technology, contract, or vendor management
* Software, hardware, or consulting services purchasing/contracting
* Business Case & RFP development
* Utilizing contract management tools
