The JM Group have been retained by a Tier 1 Bank who are currently looking to recruit a PMO with exceptional skill within Quality Assurance for fantastic opportunity within a dynamic and focussed team.​ Using your past QA experience you will be tasked with developing and delivering the QA framework ensuring that higher management and project managers can ensure successful and timely delivery of critical projects within the business.​

Job details
The Programme Management Office conducts all PMO activity including Release Management and Quality Assurance.​
The area ensures a high quality PMO service to stakeholders and provides essential oversight to the outsourced change model.​
This team provides key central support in identified areas, governance over change, ensures adherence to Group Change methodology, release planning and quality assurance on programme/​project deliverables.​

The Programme Management Office is an exciting opportunity to be involved in providing a robust Programme Management and Quality Assurance service to support the delivery of programmes/​projects across the Business, Change and Contract Management function.​ The role gives the opportunity to be involved in supporting a variety of projects, including Group projects.​ Experience of Project Management methodologies, change management and an understanding of the change approach in conjunction with good analytical skills are key to this role.​

Key Accountabilities:

• Support Project/​Programme Managers in ensuring all Business Case and Authority to Proceed documentation is produced to Group Standards and take ownership for producing and managing updates to key project management documentation e.​g project management plan, Milestone plan etc.​
• Undertake regular project and programme health checks and lessons learned reviews to assure the effectiveness of the governance and control framework
• Undertake internal audits to provide reliable, independent assurance and agree management actions to enhance the control framework
• Where appropriate provide professional/​specialist expertise throughout the project life-cycle and ensure compliance with methodology and standards
• Deliver agreed initiatives to achieve continuous improvement
• Assist in ensuring risks and issues are logged and analysed; monitor progress of actions to address risks and issues
• Support Programme and Project Managers in implementing the agreed progress reporting framework for all programmes/​projects, ensuring reports are fit for purpose and deadlines are achieved
• Assist in the timely production of progress and other management information reporting across the change portfolio, including Executive Committee and Programme Board progress reporting
• Support project and programme management processes and methodologies to optimise efficiency, meeting business goals within agreed timescales and budget, including benefits tracking and quality assurance activities
