A leading Chilled food manufacturer is currently seeking 2 Category Managers to assume responsibility for major retailer accounts within their customer portfolios.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the successful Category Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic category plans with customers, highlighting and aiding delivery of growth opportunities. The role holder will fully understand and communicate customer strategy, objectives and performance, along with consumer trends and attitude for all categories.
The Category Manager must ensure the wider commercial team understand and can effectively make use of market / retailer performance data, and consumer research which is produced.
This role is pivotal in the development and maintenance of category relationships with the retailers; therefore the successful Category Manager will have previous experience of working with the major multiple retailers ideally within the FMCG Food manufacturing industry.
Headquartered in North Yorkshire, my client offers the opportunity for this post to be based at production sites in Scunthorpe or Suffolk with weekly meetings at head office.
