Our client a major player within the Financial Services space is looking for a Video Producer to join its rapidly growing News Channel on a permanent basis. Under the guidance of the Multimedia Editor, you will be responsible for the creation and commissioning of a wide variety of multimedia projects to feature on the Companys global intranet site, the Groups global website site.
As part of the News office, the Video Producer will self generate content such as
video reports,
graphics and photo,slideshows,
as well as commissioning and managing freelancers to produce content.
Key Accountabilities:
-Self-generate multimedia content including graphics and videos
-Commission and manage a range of freelancers based around the world
-Provide advice and expertise to other areas within the Group
-Provide project leadership to ensure multimedia projects successfully make the
transition from ideas into digital content
-Budget management to ensure the fees paid by the Group to external
suppliers and freelancers is at a competitive market rate
- Collaborate with a range of internal teams to ensure any multimedia work
produced is shared across as many platforms as possible
- Generate ideas and creative treatments to help the News Office create
compelling content
-Help other teams within the Group develop their multimedia content
through ideas and advice
Experience Required:
-Evidence of generating ideas for corporate clients
-Evidence of good editing skills using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
-Ability to shoot HD video and take pictures using a Canon 5D
-Good understanding of producing graphics using Adobe After Effects or Motion
- Ability to ensure ideas are followed through and turned into content
