We are looking for an enthusiastic senior technical author to join our very successful, global telecommunications client. As part of a small writing team, you will develop and produce technical documentation for their range of award-winning products.
Documentation deliverables include user manuals, application notes, and online help for technical audiences.
As the successful candidate, you will have: At least two years' technical authoring experience in a telecoms environment, with a solid understanding of 2G, 3G and LTE technologies.
Experience of developing online help systems. Experience of using single-sourcing tools (eg XMetaL, Author-it, MadCap Flare, etc.). Good MS Word and FrameMaker experience. Good experience of working in deadline driven environments, with good attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude. An understanding of XML/DITA environments is desirable.
