Part Time Relief Ambulance Care Assistant
30 Hours per week
£16,271 - £19,268 pro rata per annum
A vacancy has arisen for a Part Time Relief Ambulance Care Assistant for the Patient Transport Service at Alford Ambulance Station working 30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for delivering, high quality care and safe transportation for non emergency patients from their homes to hospital and clinic appointments.
Applicants are required to hold or will be required to obtain prior to employment categories "C1" and "D1" on their driving licence. The Scottish Ambulance Service can offer assistance in funding this driving class if necessary for the successful candidate. You must also have
excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player.
All applicants must successfully complete all aspects of the Scottish Ambulance Service entrance tests including a retention and recall test, fitness test and driving assessment.
In return, we offer a starting salary of £14,451 pro rata per annum (£9,634) and upon successful completion of 19 weeks training/probationary period moving to £16,271 pro rata per annum (£10,847) and annual increments thereafter.
