This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the ongoing development of the Referral Centre for the Cotswolds Locality. This role is at the heart of the Referral Centre as it is the first point of contact for professionals requiring services for people in the Cotswolds.

The role involves taking referrals from health and social professionals who require ongoing community services for people in the Cotswolds Locality. It also involves signposting professionals to relevant services and liaising closely with a small team of Referral Centre professionals in getting the best outcomes in terms of health and social care for the people of the Cotswolds.

This post would best suit someone who has experience in working in a busy and pressurised environment where a questioning manner and attention to detail are part of their day to day work.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, both verbally and written are essential for this role as is confidence in dealing with professionals and the public on the telephone.

A knowledge of local health and care systems would be advantageous although training will be given.
