Our very successful, global telecommunications client is looking for an enthusiastic technical author who is keen to develop their career. As part of a small, supportive writing team, you will develop and produce technical documentation for their range of award-winning products.
Documentation deliverables include user manuals, application notes, and online help for technical audiences.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
At least one year's technical authoring experience in a telecoms environment.
Solid MS Word and FrameMaker experience.
Good experience of working in deadline driven environments.
Excellent communication skills, with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
The following skills are desirable, but not essential, as support and full training will be provided:
A good understanding of 2G, 3G and LTE technologies.
Experience of using single-sourcing tools (eg XMetaL, Author-it, MadCap Flare, etc.).
An understanding of XML/DITA environments.
An HNC or above, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering.
