Expertis are looking on behalf of our Client for an experienced Signalling Verifier for a variety of Rail projects within their York office. Reporting into the Signalling Design Manager this is a key role leading a design team.

The main responsibilities of this role are
 - Allocate workload within Design team Monitor progress of works within the team,
agreeing any alterations with Design Manager
Responsible for the design/checking of signalling schemes
Analysing existing signalling circuits
Deal with internal and client technical queries
Provide technical leadership and guidance within the team,
promoting and supporting the ongoing technical development of your team members
Mentor individuals undergoing competency certification arrangements

The successful applicant will display the following
- IRSE Licence holder as Principles Designer/Signalling Design Verifier Appropriate level of technical qualifications
- ONC/HNC or similar Proficient in all categories of signalling design activity Competent in design production techniques and skills for Signalling Systems Ensure all work carried out to an appropriate standard IT Literate proficient in use of CAD systems
- Microstation would be beneficial

This is a permanent opportunity with attractive salary and bonus package with overtime available depending on workload. this role would suit someone already working as a Verifier or someone at Principles level who has completed the necessary IRSE certification and is looking to take the step up to Verifier.
