The purpose of this role is to manage the inventory supply, for a defined range of brands on behalf of the UK commercial business. This includes pro-actively managing the conflicting demands of Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing and third parties.
Also, to manage the supply of inventory across all categories for the top 6 accounts for the two key set change periods of Spring and Autumn.
To support the brand teams in their seasonal marketing and promotional plans, including movie launches, advising on all aspects of inventory management.
Building relationships with other markets, global operations and production planning teams in the far east. Develop and continuously improve team processes and functions in order maximise team efficiencies

Responsibilities:
* Create and manage efficient and effective domestic supply plans for the UK
* Attend the monthly Market Forecasting Process
* Lead the wave management process
* Understand the Forecast Analyst Job Role and the Demand Planning system to provide cover
* Liaise with Marketing and commercial teams on specific promotional and key account items
* Working in collaboration with other EU/global markets to ensure production schedules are in line across the markets.
* Overcoming obstacles to supply, including MOQs and capacity constraints
* Regular updating of global demand plans ensuring forecasts and phasing are accurately communicated.
* Take the lead on various cross functional and team projects
* Manage and run the weekly Commitment process for the team, including the development of a working document
* Assisting the Inventory Planning manager in developing the IP team and it's processes, in order to continuously improve the Inventory planning function

Essential skills/experience:
* Experience working in a supply chain/operational or manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work cross-functionally across a business, particularly with sales and marketing teams.
* Excellent team player
* Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
* Self motivator with the ability to work on their own.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally and in writing, including effective liaison with overseas offices.
* Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ideally Microsoft access and SAP would be advantageous
* Strong level of numeracy, attention to detail and accuracy in their work
