Hours: 37.75 per week. Mon to Thurs 8.30-5.00pm, Fri 8.30-4.00pm with a 45 min lunch break each day
Location: Nottingham. Monthly travel to France

JOB PURPOSE:
Building and owning a phased supply forecast based on actual customer sell out data
" Influencing the customer range; working with buying team
" Validating customer order plans against this range
" Phasing demand for the product selection giving the customer flexibility but minimising stock risk
" Understanding how to buy against demand plan to maximise availability but minimise stock risk, working with the supply chain

DIMENSIONS:
Across the 2 major account to be managed:
" €15M turnover
" All product categories
" 2.3 Million units sell out per year

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
" Work closely with key multinational customers, utilising their data and systems to monitor and manage in store performance in line with KPIs agreed with the customer
" Own the customer S&OP process, feeding into a wider company S&OP process
" Be responsible for accurate flow of data from working with Customer to maintain SLA's, ensuring plans are amended according to the promotional plans and that this is accurately captured in the demand plan
" Attend regular meetings with customer to review performance and work collaboratively on all upcoming activity on a rolling horizon to ensure all products are managed effectively in store
" Work with the Demand planner to reduce any excess waste by agreeing plans with customers, clearance deals or other solutions including elsewhere in the company, utilising in store knowledge to influence and recommend actions on both sides
" Deliver against departmental KPIs and those specific to the customer as defined
" Ensure regular communication with the commercial team, analysing previous promotional performance to help provide the customer with robust promotional performance data and future demand planning
" Be the point of contact with the customer for all medium-long term service or supply issues to customer and manage scenarios/contingencies to improve supply
" Work with customer on all NPD forecasts to ensure accurate buy in information is made available to the demand planner
" Ownership of the customer forecast for at risk stock to support demand peaks and ensure ongoing customer on-shelf availability

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
" Knowledge of S&OP processes and demand planning methodologies
" Strong experience working with customers on retailed products
" Ideally experience with customer portals to interpret in store data to identify business opportunities and risks
" Ability to lead continuous improvement
" Commercial, with evidence of the ability to deliver proactive and reactive support
" Ability to analyse and evaluate data against key indicators, to monitor programmes, projects and plans to set targets
" Proficiency using key software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
" Good verbal and written communication skills
" Ability to meet financial targets
" Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at different levels

SPECIAL FEATURES:
French speaking would be an advantage
May be based at customer in France/French office a few days per month so need to be ok to travel
