Account Manager
27k-30k plus commission
Northern Ireland

Account Development Manager (ADM) role; with added responsibility for business development in an area covering the entire land mass of Ireland. Following extensive training you will take over the Company's most successful territory, on which you will be expected to manage and further develop the allocated independent retailers and wholesale operations; by working closely with the National Sales Manager, Sales Office Manager, Sales Development, Logistical and Accounting teams. Managing our fast growing modern trade opportunities and strengthening our Brands within these channels.

Responsibilities include;
* To build profitable long term commercial relationships with current and new business partners
* Manage the performance and development of the territory to achieve quantitative results
* Identify and develop profitable business within new market channels and customers
* Ensure there is a coordinated approach and activity within the territory
* Manage the performance and development of the all Brands, especially focus Brands
* Attend and participate at Brand demos and expos

The potential candidate must have and demonstrate the following characteristics:
* Will already have close working relationship with top level buyers
* Have a vision to enable retail sales to rise both vertically and horizontally
* Knows themselves and uses this knowledge to assist with your focus and territory development
* Develops a broad and in-depth knowledge covering the existing customer base, opportunities for new business, competitor activity, seasonal trends and also foreseeable events and changes in the region which might affect the business
* Has a broad knowledge of the alliance partners across all disciplines and is able to use this resource to further growth
* Has a commercial awareness and skill which allows them to make decisions based on factors such as drop profitability, profit per item, product mix, cost to serve and the size of the market
* Is able to think in terms of the whole solution for a customer
* Is effective in negotiating techniques and promotes these throughout the team
* Is able to construct a realistic, profitable business plan for each channel that breaks down the potential growth by category and customer
* Communicates up and down the Company hierarchy to pass on and gain relevant information without needing to be prompted to do so
* Challenges the status quo in order to get results
* Demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for the business
* Imparts confidence and competence to the customers and colleagues they work with
* Sets an example to the team in how to create growth with customers
* Presents a professional image in their appearance, manner and timekeeping
