We're now looking for an experienced Senior Category Manager to join us.

You'll be focusing on strategic sourcing for the Sales, Marketing and Customer Operations area.
Your significant expertise will enable you to lead sourcing activities, plan and lead commercial negotiations, while influencing senior stakeholders and board members.
As a key member of our Procurement team, dealing with the supply of goods and services, you will have category responsibility for annual spends of up to £100 million and other 'high risk' procurement on an ad hoc basis. The nature of this role means you will work across our business and the E.ON group and support the development of medium term sourcing strategies both local and globally.

Essential skill requirements

*Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to understand business needs.
*Previous experience in a role with significant responsibility for selecting, contracting with and managing high spend/ high risk suppliers.
*A detailed understanding of purchasing and supply chain issues and category management practices, linked to possession of/ study for a relevant professional qualification (e.g. MCIPS).
*The ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels (internal and external).
*Comprehensive legal knowledge of supply contracts, and the ability to negotiate and agree terms and conditions for complex contracts.
*Ability to work independently/unsupervised and deliver required outcomes.
*Team Management skills.
*Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
Desirable

*Experience of working in a regulated environment.
*Working knowledge of SAP.
