MARKETING MANAGER - BEACONSFIELD, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE - 40K

We are looking for a great marketer to join us on our journey and help build our fans, the brand and support our licensees with great central brand marketing. At the end of the day it is all about people.

Please only apply if you have the relevant experience required which is around 4 to 6 years in a similar position with an action sports, lifestyle or entertainment brand and a good understanding of the industry.

Overview:
* Brand Strategy: Formulate and deliver the marketing strategy and marketing plan for the EXTREME Brand.
* Activation: plan and run our consumer brand marketing alongside marketing support and servicing our Licensees.
* Ambassador management: Look after and manage our roster of action sport athletes, musicians and artists
* Events Partner and work with event organisers across jams, tours, festivals and parties.
* Social media management: manage the social media team to deliver engagement, interaction and growth.
* Licensee Support and servicing. Run and deliver this

Key Responsibilities

* You will be a steward of the brand that supports the brand promise, brand vision, brand position and help deliver the overall business and mkt goals.
* Engages, inspires and galvanizes all relevant people around our brand vision, position and plan so everyone is clear in bringing them to life and making it happen.
* You will lead and run the development and activation of Licensee support activities to achieve defined business objectives across all the licensed products.
* Ensuring all marketing literature, content and campaigns, designs etc and messages fit the brand positioning.
* Analyses market, consumer, and competitive information to help defining the brand stories in core categories.
* You will be responsible for and manage the Extreme Ambassadors program from talent identification, contract negotiation and work with them to get the best from them and help them.
The Activation, Making it happen.
* Manage our team ambassador managers across each sport.
* Ensure that our ambassadors are taken care of with product and support
* Ensure ambassador content is flowing in for all our social media channels, eg facebook, twitter and instagram.
* Organize travel/ road trips to promote brand.
* Plan and Organize ongoing video edits from multiple sources
* Work on cross promotional ideas for branding; make sure all major websites that list our news products are aware of what we`re doing.
* Organization, involvement and set up of events including, parties, contests, meet and greet and give a ways.
* Contract negotiation and re-negotiation.
* Procure co-sponsorship for events and road trips.

Desired Skills and Experience


Experience

Around 4 to 6 years` experience in similar position preferably with a sport, lifestyle or entertainment brand.
Active participant and total understanding in one or more of the core sports

Skills + Attributes


The most suitable candidate will be/have:

Understand and be able to run and do Ambassador, event and social media marketing
Passionate and knowledgeable of the Action Sports industry
An understanding of Licensing - the more the better.
Proven success working in a fast paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are complemented by hard-driving promotional activities.
Proven ability and desire to help build a Marketing infrastructure, including processes, methodologies and tools required to drive marketing effectiveness.
Have an instinctive feeling about future consumer trends and product concepts.
Strong analytical skills and excellent presentation skills.
Experienced at Photoshop, PageMaker, Illustrator and associated design programs.
A good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research.
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Budget management experience.
Strong project management skills.
Used to interpreting data and driving value adding insights
Leadership and Team Management skills.
Organized and determined persistent person.
Self-starter, proactive and team player.
Thorough with an eye for detail, decision making oriented and able to quickly react to changing environment.
