Global Category Manager, £60,000 basic + 10% Bonus + Car, Nottingham
My client, a leading blue chip energy company is looking to recruit a Global Category Manager following a large scale restructure of their procurement function.
The Category Manager will have responsibility for Power Generation procurement across the company including accountability for power stations and assets.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Experience in managing contracts of a significant value (£20m-£50m)
*Exposure to global direct and indirect spend
*Experience of adding value within a commercially focused Procurement role
*Technical industry background; Power Generation, Energy, Engineering etc
*A CIPS qualification and an appreciation of lean procurement
*Strategic Procurement experience with a proven track record of engagement with stakeholders at all levels
*Experience of UK and EU procurement
The role will be based in Nottingham and will involve reasonably extensive travel to Europe.
