Dairy Franchisee / Self Employed Delivery Driver : This is an excellent opportunity to represent a superb national brand delivering milk and associated products to residential customers in and around Watford, Hertfordshire.
Our client is offering this role on a self-employed Franchise basis and in order to become a Franchisee you would initially be starting as an employee of the company. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to take on a milk round as a self-employed franchisee after initial training. This position places you with the UK's number one dairy business and a company who believe in encouraging success - both business and personal.
The Role
As Dairy Franchisee / Delivery Driver you will maintain and increase sales of milk and groceries to current and new customers, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times and effectively controlling the operation of the milk round.
As a Franchisee you would be employed by the business for a maximum of 17 weeks during which time you will receive £350 per week. Thereafter, as a Franchisee, you can expect to earn much more as you transfer to self-employed status. Full support and training is provided in all aspects of the job to enable the successful applicant to become a successful Franchisee of the company - your success is their success!
Responsibilities
As Dairy Franchisee / Delivery Driver you will be responsible for milk and grocery delivery to our clients' residential customers. You will deliver to circa 600 customers 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday), within a defined geographical area.
When operating as a Franchisee, you will have all the benefits of running your own business with the support of the UK's largest doorstep delivery company. Support from the Operations Manager, Business Manager and their staff will help ensure you remain on track to deliver the earning potential.
You will be delivering products to customers on the designated milk round and participating in all company promotional activities. You will ensure deliveries and orders are logged on the Electronic Rounds Book (handheld computer), collect customer payments and carry out all administration procedures, as necessary.
In the role of Dairy Franchisee / Delivery Driver you will be responsible for maintaining the necessary levels of stock, order products and keeping your vehicle clean and tidy at all times.
Skills & Attributes
For the role of Dairy Franchisee / Delivery Driver you:
* Must hold a full driving licence with Category B entitlement
* Maximum of 6 points on driving licence accepted
* Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
* Will have experience of keeping accurate records
* Must be comfortable working alone and with early starts/night work
* Be self-motivated with drive for success
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
* Must be comfortable handling cash
Remuneration
For the role of Dairy Franchisee / Delivery Driver projected on target earnings are £25,000 per annum.
