What is the role?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic 0.5 Principal Teacher, for Barr Primary School, who will support the Head Teacher and assume responsibility for school management and leadership when the Head Teacher is not available.
To be responsible for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues, and be committed to critical self-evaluation and be fully responsible for duties allocated to the post of Principal Teacher.

The Grade of this post is PT Spinal Point 1 – £37,284 pro rata.
The opportunity is available for an additional 0.2 FTE Temporary Unpromoted Teacher pointage.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007.
Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
