An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Student Services department.

Our Career Destinations service is looking to recruit a full time Employer Engagement Manager to join our vibrant team. Working within this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    Lead the Service’s employer engagement strategy, expanding the diversity and number of employers we work with through placements, other forms of work experience, events and general engagement related to the graduate job market
    Oversee the operation and new business development of the Excel Placement Programme,Career Mentoring, and extensive programme of Employer events
    Co-ordinate activities across these offerings and work in partnership with colleagues, Faculties and Professional Services to ensure a streamlined approach to employer engagement and superior quality customer service
    Be responsible for management of the Placements and Events teams

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to build new strategic business relationships from the ground up, achieving successful outcomes through influencing key stakeholders. In addition to strong communication skills,you will haveexcellent project management skills; able to deliver to deadline and manage multiple projects.

You will be able to use management information effectively to inform the development of services to support our students progressing to positive destinations post-University. Previous relationship management experience would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will also have proven experience of line managing a small team of direct reports.

The salary is £27,428 per annum. Further benefits of this role include the opportunity to join the University’s pension scheme, 30 days annual leave and access to a number of University employer discount schemes.
