Our Programme Advisory Service (PAS) team is part of Performance Improvement within Advisory and helps the world’s leading organisations with designing and implementing major projects across a variety of markets and sectors. Over the last few years, we have experienced significant growth and are one of the most dynamic and fastest growing practices within Ernst & Young.

Our clients include many of today’s leading global companies, innovative growth companies and major government departments. We are thus looking for candidates with strong client/market focuses and expertise that we can leverage into our clients. In specific we are looking for Project/Programme Managers with a strong insight into one or more of the following;

· Government & Public Sector
· Healthcare
· Transport & Infrastructure
· Energy, Chemicals & Utilities
· Consumer Products
· Industrial Products
· Technology, Communications & Entertainment

To support and maintain our growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a number of business advisors/project managers to join our practice at Manager Level. In particular we are interested in candidates with a proven track record in any of the following:-

· Project Management with commercial experience of major capital/infrastructure projects
· Construction process knowledge
· Quantity Surveying/ Engineering
· Contract management practice
· Risk Management process

Working as a Manager in our UK&I practice your primary focus will be to help in delivering complex programme audit and programme control assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries. The ability to deliver tangible business results whilst at the same time, nurturing and building client relationships for the longer term is essential.

You will ideally already have been operating in a consulting capacity for another blue chip professional services firm, or as a project/programme manager within industry and are now seeking a broader platform from which to grow and develop your talents.
Experience Required For The Role:
· Technical expertise in at least one of the following areas; project or programme management, programme auditing, programme management office.

· Competent at dealing with senior executives and management

· Leading/managing workstreams in some of the following types of projects and programmes – Business/Financial Transformations, Cost Reductions, Business Process Reengineering, Business Integration or Divestment, Outsourcing/Shared Services Development, Systems Implementation (esp. ERP), and other medium/large complex change programmes.

Skills and Knowledge Required for the Role:
· Strong project and programme management
· Confidence in developing programme related strategic and tactical advice and assurance solutions
· Strong proven client management skills – will have to operate with clients at senior levels
· Proven report writing, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
· Financially numerate, good analytical and problem solving skills
· Good knowledge of the wider business environment and a strong commercial grounding

Relevant Qualifications:
· Qualified Quantity Surveyor
· Prince 2
· MBA
