Alzheimer’s Society is the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. Dementia affects over 800,000 people in the UK alone and numbers continue to grow.
Working in our dedicated Customer Service and Insight Team, the Fundraising Database Analyst will work on the development and application of innovative analytical approaches and tools enabling Alzheimer’s Society to gain a better understanding of supporter behaviour.
The role involves extensive use and ongoing development of the FastStats statistical package, alongside our existing Progress CRM database, and therefore requires a solid understanding of database structures; meticulous attention to detail; and expertise in data presentation. Your ability to problem-solve, create targeted data selections and to act on your initiative will help to maximise our customers’ potential and ensure we provide accurate, timely and meaningful reports to all fundraising teams.
You will be an excellent team player with proven experience of working with statistical software and CRM databases, ideally in a fundraising environment. A strategic outlook together with the ability to plan and execute tasks according to strict routines and deadlines is also desirable.
