My client is a branded convenience food business based in Leeds and are currently looking to recruit a Brand Manager specialising in dried foods. You will be working closely with the celebrity cook and tv presenter of this brand in order to achieve your goals.

You will be responsible for providing the overall marketing and NPD activities for the allocated brand. You will be the single point of contact for the implementation of the Brand Strategy and all market research, advertising and promotion and NPD activities. You will be responsible for developing and managing the marketing budget for the allocated brand.

Responsibilities:

1 Develop and implement marketing strategy to effectively reach their consumers
2 Develop and execute brand innovation plans
3 Working closely with a portfolio of brands
4 20-50% communication Ie: retail media, sponsorships
5 Manage all Market Research, Advertising (Both ATL and BTL) and Promotions, NPD and activities
6 Manage multiple projects at any one time
7 Meet key KPI's such as business turnover and profit targets
8 Manage a Marketing Spend budget
9 Responsibility for P&L
10 Work with Category Team to identify issues and opportunities - and develop associated actions
11 Identify market trends and opportunities for NPD / range extension / refresh
12 Manage product lifecycle
13 Full responsibility for all areas of the marketing mix
14 Work with Retailer account teams to ensure Brand Activation in key accounts
15 Provide Weekly updates to Marketing Controller and monthly updates to senior management and reports as required

The Person:

- Experience in a Product / Brand management role
- Experience in managing a number of projects simultaneously
- Strong presentation skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Strong project management skills
- Numeric skills
- Creative and able to rise to a challenge
- Commercially astute with an understanding of the need for pace
- Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strategic in decision making
- Professional approach and flexible attitude to the post
- Ability to lead from the front
- Organised and methodical approach
