A successful and growing SME business, is now seeking to appoint an Ecommerce & Merchandising Director.
Working closely with the CEO and the senior management team, this newly created role is an excellent opportunity to join an established multi-million pound turnover business that is now looking to take on the next stage of business growth.
Lincoln area, this will suit candidate travelling from Gainsborough, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Chesterfield, North Nottingham, Grimsby, Mansfield.
You will be accountable for the overall commercial strategy for two areas of the business - the Ecommerce & Digital Marketing strategy and Merchandising, to include product buying and product ranging for a number of categories.
Your key focus will be to identify and pursue new commercial opportunities to ensure growth, ensuring that digital marketing strategies will support increased sales.
We are specifically looking for a candidate with strategic experience within the following -
* Ecommerce - solid understanding of digital campaigns for B2C and B2B and selling via complex and busy online platforms
* Product Buying & Range Development
* Product Marketing
The client manufacture their own products across two sites, however they also buy in a number of products to resell on via their digital platforms. They have a successful online store complimenting the product ranges they distribute via major retailers and stores.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree preferred
* Proven experience at Director level of 'Head of' level, ideally within online retail geared environment
* Experience of implanting sales, digital marketing and buying strategies
* Knowledge of digital campaigns, SEO & PPC etc.
* Product buying and product ranging experience. (Merchandising)
* Strong communication skills at all levels.
* Self starter with high level of motivation.
* Looking to progress - proactive.
* Experience of making decisions under pressure.
* Action Orientated.
* Ability to negotiate and influence.
* Effective team player.
* Organised and disciplined.
* Ideas person.
