As part of our client's corporate sales team, this is a newly created role for a Head of Sales Administration and Account Management team (Telecoms) to join this rapidly expanding Telecoms leader in the mobile market space.
Leading initially a team of 3, due to rise to 8 staff, you will plan, prioritise and manage sales activities to achieve agreed business targets within the UK Corporate market. In addition to existing accounts and leads provided by the company's marketing activities, key aspects of the role include:
- The role holder is a sales operational professional, responsible for representing the company and selling products and services where a technical background is not necessary.
Maintaining new and existing relationships for straightforward accounts and/or single line products.
- - Ability to identify new opportunity areas within existing clients
- - Ability to build and execute on retention plans
- - Identification of core Customer influences and changes
- - Demonstrate and undertake detailed account planning in order to identify, approach, scope, scale and win business.
- - Disciplined approach to accurate and regular reporting activity utilising CRM systems
- - Management of a Sales administration function that services direct and indirect customers
- - Building and managing a high performing desk based account management function
- - Stays abreast of the latest sales developments within their business area and customer accounts and may contribute to the UK sales strategy.
- - Producing account forecasting and sales planning for existing accounts
- - To establish & maintain key customers relationships
- - To provide and coordinate sales and sales operations training and coaching across the UK team.
- - Experience selling into the SME and Corporate mobile industry
- - Knowledge of the mobile market place
- - Excellent communication and customer management skills, both written and verbal
- - Ideally experienced in utilising Salesforce.com to report and manage activity
- - Commercially astute
- - Well organised and methodical approach to work and able to multi-task with an attention to detail
- - Appreciation of critical timescales and the impact of delay on client perception
- - Customer satisfaction and service delivery focussed
- - Tenacious and able to motivate others in support of the needs of the role
- - Flexible and adaptable to new concepts and methods of working
- - Self-motivational in order to deliver exceptional results.
- - Where necessary, be able to manage C senior level negotiations executing multi sales plans.
- - Ensure all account pitches target the key areas for success and are designed to deliver in-line with the expectations of the business.

- - Track record of success in delivering business growth and identifying new business within accounts.
- - Highly numerate and adept at analysing and manipulating data in order to build and help build strong and persuasive selling messages.
