What you'll be doing
As Reception Manager you'll lead, inspire and motivate the Reception team to handle check in and check out to give a great first and last impression making sure that our guests have everything they need to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Our Reception team thrives on pressure and are nothing if not flexible, welcoming and, quite frankly, amazing at all times!

We also know that each and every one of our guests wants to be made to feel special, so no lengthy standards checklists for us! As Reception Manager you'll use your instinct to build a great rapport and deliver our distinctively memorable one of a kind service.

What you'll need

Reception Manager, Bridgewood Manor Hotel -


  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive.
  • To enjoy the buzz of being busy.
  • To be smart and well presented.
  • Previous experience in a hotel reception role at assistant manager level.
  • Excellent standard of numeracy, literacy.
  • Excellent operational knowledge and experience of IT Front Office System.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • To know how to maximise sales opportunities through occupancy and average room rate.
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English.
  • To be able to recognize and develop future stars.
  • To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 7am and 11pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
