What you'll be doing

Reporting directly to the General Manager, with support from your Regional Revenue Manager you'll be responsible for formulating and implementing revenue management strategies for the hotel accommodation order to maximise revenue potential and increase competitive share.

You'll do this by using statistical data to set future pricing & selling strategies for hotel accommodation, and managing inventory strategies for Protel and onward distribution channels, and setting annual pricing for all market segments and making sure that the team adheres to the pricing and selling strategies set.

You'll also conduct frequent competitor analysis to make sure that the pricing and selling strategy reflects market demand and the hotel competitive share

You'll take part in hotel strategy meetings and be responsible for compiling the financial forecast on a weekly basis for accommodation and assist in compiling the annual rooms budget

You'll manage the day to day operation of the hotel revenue office.

What you'll need

Significant experience in a Reservations Manager or Supervisory position within a similar property.
Ideally you'll have a degree, HND or NVQ level 4 or similar level of qualification.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and IT Front Office system ( Protel knowledge an advantage) and also Web based booking systems.
You'll be able to interpret and analyse market information such as Hotstats/Hotelligence/Rateview.
Excellent level of spoken and written English.
