Our Client is looking for an experienced vessel superintendent
Based in Great Yarmouth however you will be required to visit vessels as part of your managerial role on a worldwide scale, to achieve the effective running of our Fleet of vessels.
Applicants with recent experience within the marine industry, either in a seagoing role or management position where they are or were involved with Vessel maintenance, repair and dry-docking. Someone who has gained experience working in shipyards or previous experience of overseeing vessel conversions and refits. Any supervisory, management and project planning experience within any of the above areas would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should possess a Qualification in Engineering or a Certificate of Competency, ?Engineering or Deck
? and ideally be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of vessel operational requirements including, but not limited to, ISM, Classification Society Regulations and Flag State requirements, SOLAS and MARPOL.
You will have a proven track record demonstrating commercial awareness and judgement in management in the international arena.
Confidence and the ability to communicate appropriately working with those involved on projects are also key attributes to this role
