Experian QAS is based in the London office with occasional UK- wide travel, this position has the responsibility for presales support to secure new business, delivering data quality services to clients as well as working closely with all relevant teams and departments in Experian QAS such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Product Management and Project Management to develop and promote the services offered.
Main responsibilities:
Delivery
- Delivery of data services such as data cleaning, de-duplication, data validation, data transformation, data analysis and / or bespoke SQL processing
- Assist with delivery of components of large scale projects such as data migration
- Responsible for portion of the department delivery target
- Managing the end-to-end delivery process in a consulting capacity from inception through to delivery
- Proactively set and manage customers’ expectations regarding functionality, scope, delivery times, estimates and ROI
- Define, manage and enforce best practice methodologies
Pre-sales
Provide teleconferencing and telephone presales support by helping Sales position QAS solutions, ensuring the correct requirements are gathered and understood, facilitate the clients technical understanding of QAS services and recommend optimum solutions to meet their needs.
Creative thinking when scoping solutions.
Strong management of customers’ expectations, always agreeing realistic scope, estimates and delivery times
Implement and utilise best practice methodologies
Skills required:
Strong relationship building skills at all levels – both internally & externally
Highly tuned organisation skills
The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent communication (written and oral), influencing and consulting skills
A logical approach to problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills Graduate calibre (ideally in computer science, maths, science discipline) or equivalent qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook
Some experience of working in an IT related role
Experience of data processing, manipulation or analysis preferred
Experience of using SQL preferred
