This Recycling business in the West Midlands are in need of a Project Design Engineer to complete their project and maintenance team.

Role description:
As a Project Design Engineer you will be heavily involved in the development of this business' West Midlands facility, particularly with material handling equipment. You will be working with the maintenance engineers of the site's plant and equipment and be part of the initial design and development existing and new plant and equipment.
You will be working on the development of upgrading existing equipment and developing new machinery on a project basis, seeing the project through to installation and management.

There is a continuous emphasis on plant efficiency within this business and you will be involved in the consistent monitoring and development, sourcing and managing your own maintenance team and external contractors.
You will be instrumental in maintenance and shutdown planning, scheduling and supervision.

Who we're looking for:
A professional Engineer will experience in multi-skilled engineering functions, degree qualified or qualified through relevant mechanical or electrical experience.
In order to fulfil the demands of this role you will have CAD understanding, with experience implementing it within material handling and processing equipment (conveyors, screens, crushers).

The successful applicant will ideally have knowledge of PLC programming and an understanding of electrical control systems.
You will be able to work amongst a cross functional team and be able an influential member, coordinating and facilitating projects.
