We are seeking to recruit a Commercial Executive for a leading food manufacturer to lead their existing team.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Commercial Manager through maintaining and developing the data systems and tools.
You will be working with the Commercial team on a day to day basis to manage the applicable customer account and to deliver the site budget/profit and margin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in a similar role currently but wanting to develop into a Senior Management position.
Duties to include:
- Develop relationship with Buyer and PDM and use this relationship to resolve day to day issues with the agreement of Commercial Manager
- Panel and cost agreed products with NPD Manager
- Attend NPD panels with NPD Manager and use meetings to prepare product benchmarks/justifications
- Calculate promotional funding costs, completing necessary customer proposal process
- Using analysed sales data agree specific recommendations for new products and upgrades with NPD and Category colleagues
You will have demonstrable experience of working within a similar role and having a passion for food is essential.
You will have an enthusiastic, committed and flexible approach along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
