There are Clinical Trial Co-ordinator (Band 4) posts currently available on various research teams within The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. These research teams form part of the Research and Development division.

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, and an international leader in cancer research and development.
We are one of the leading centres in the UK for clinical trials and radiotherapy research.
In 2010, we also opened our new patient treatment centre, the largest clinical trials unit of its kind at present. Through this development, we aspire to put Manchester at the forefront of international research.

In order to support our growth as a centre of excellence in research, we are looking to recruit Band 4 Clinical Trial Co-ordinator to support our existing research staff.
You will be based within an oncology research team, which supports a large number of commercial, NCRN and in-house trials.
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individuals who will be responsible for assisting the research nurses, consultants and trial administration management team with various aspects of clinical trial administration work including; data management, case report form completion, invoicing, communication with trial sponsors, monitors and the wider research community, maintaining electronic records to support the team and assisting with the set up of new studies.

Applicants should be qualified to at least diploma level, or have an equivalent level of experience.
 The successful candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge of the clinical trials process, and be IT literate with previous experience of administrative work, including data management within a health care setting.
 We are looking for someone with good organisation and communication skills; who is able to work well both in a team and using their own initiative.
