Our Client is one of the world's leading consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company with presence in over 80 countries. They are seeking the services for a Cloud Pricing Strategist to join them on a Permanent basis.

Our Client has an excellent reputation of providing customers with strategic solutions that enable them to profit from the advanced use of technology. As their client portfolio continues to grow, they require dedicated strategic partners to work closely with these key customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain product and pricing information on business systems with over 2,000 product cost points; manage the development of quotation and deal evaluation methods to ensure consistent use across business units.

Review and analyze approximately 400 RFPs annually to identify and approve pricing and contractual requirements to ensure feasibility of projects with respect to company costs and budget. Manage the development and production of cost volumes to meet company needs.

Interface with 25 operational staff leads in developing and pricing staffing profiles across 10 labour categories and coordinate all subcontractor pricing targets and cost proposals.

Review various cost modelling methodologies, tools and techniques and software to determine appropriate uses and needs for upgrading. Determine pricing cost and create departmental pricing reports. Analyze and report trends on pricing, SLAs, product penetration.

Support all major phases of the solicitation process such as, specialized and/or more complex requests for information (RFI), complex RFP responses, and complex aspects of negotiations, to determine feasibility and areas of financial risk. Yearly revenue growth rate for business unit is trending at over 40% annually with targeted global revenue at $1Billion by 2014.

Interface with vendors and merchandising associates to determine pricing costs and related information to ensure that all material is obtained in a cost-effective manner. Interface with customer contracting officials in responding to solicitations and perform due diligence on prospective clients and new outsourcing opportunities to enhance profit opportunities. Provide leadership and work guidance, manage a staff of three.
Analyze and monitor competitor prices and/or data and recommend price changes to ensure competitiveness of proposals. Pricing lead on Global release of Cloud products to EMEA and Australia. Selected Achievements: Improved the level of analysis for pricing team building advanced Excel models while reducing the quote to cash cycle from 20 to 5 business days. Financial interface for Cloud Product development team including IAAS, SAAS, Off-Premise/On-Premise, Hybrid models, SAP & VDI Expertise widely noted by Financial Directors, Web Hosting Pricing personnel, and non-financial departments.
