PURPOSE OF THIS JOB
To support the Site Procurement Manager/ Engineering, Construction and Projects (UUK & Group) Team in the execution of both the local and global strategies. To work with relevant customers/stakeholders and procurement colleagues in the development and execution of the customer aligned and fully integrated category plan(s) for Engineering, Construction and Projects (UUK & Group) and taking the commercial lead in the sourcing, selection and management of suppliers for all associated projects.

LEAD ON
Development and execution of the sourcing strategies
Tender and Negotiation process
Drafting, award and execution of contracts
Commercial Management of suppliers

KEY INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONS
*Internal Stakeholders, customers including Projects & Maintenance teams
*Engineering, Construction and Projects Category Team
*Procurement Leadership Team
*Site critical suppliers/ service providers

SCOPE
*Project activities totaling c.£20m per annum
*Placement of contracts up to £5m
*Contracts in Engineering, Construction & Projects with a strong emphasis in Construction
*Ensure appropriate supplier management methods and performance metrics are applied to the management of preferred suppliers & Contracts
*Development and execution of Project Procurement Strategies
